Ching Ming Festival

Ching Ming is a traditional occasion for families to visit ancestral graves and pay their respects. Travel connected with remembrance can affect routes near cemeteries and public transport connections.

• Check local access routes: Deliveries near memorial areas may need to account for traffic management.
• Prepare advance orders: Florists and relevant suppliers should confirm pickup and delivery times.
• Monday footfall varies: Office districts and family-destination areas may behave differently.
• Visitor enquiries: Share your hours; suggest checking transport and attraction notices directly.
• Check employment guidance: For private-sector days off, substitute holidays, staffing and pay arrangements, follow announcements from the Hong Kong Labour Department.

• 30 days before: Set Monday hours, verify delivery access and confirm advance orders for flowers or related items.
• 14 days before: Set each date’s special hours in Google Business Profile, including closed days. Publish a Post on the same day with the complete opening schedule.
• 7 days before: Repeat collection hours and advise customers to check transport notices before travelling.
• On the holiday: Verify that the posted hours still match actual operations. Check that the special hours will expire after their assigned dates rather than overwrite regular hours.
