Easter holidays

Easter is a Christian observance centred on the resurrection of Jesus. In Hong Kong, Good Friday, the following day and Easter Monday are public holidays, creating a four-day break.

• Expect family leisure trips: Restaurants near attractions may see different demand from weekday office districts.
• Publish service-hour changes: Independent shops, studios and clinics may choose to adjust appointments.
• Reconfirm visitor bookings: Accommodation and tourism services should keep availability and arrival instructions current.
• Visitor enquiries: Share your hours; suggest checking transport and attraction notices directly.
• Check employment guidance: For private-sector days off, substitute holidays, staffing and pay arrangements, follow announcements from the Hong Kong Labour Department.

• 30 days before: Decide daily hours across all four dates, then verify rosters and accepted bookings.
• 14 days before: Set each date’s special hours in Google Business Profile, including closed days. Publish a Post on the same day with the complete opening schedule.
• 7 days before: Reconfirm holiday bookings and check that arrival instructions match any local transport notices.
• On the holiday or final day: Verify that the posted hours still match actual operations. Check that the special hours will expire after their assigned dates rather than overwrite regular hours.
