Children's Day and Tomb-Sweeping Day holiday

Children’s Day recognises children and family life. Tomb Sweeping Day, also called Qingming, is a time when many families visit ancestral graves or gather for remembrance.

• Travel reshapes local demand: Roads to family destinations and memorial areas may see different traffic from business districts.
• Family outings may matter: Restaurants close to parks and attractions can prepare for variable lunchtime peaks.
• Some purchases happen early: Shops selling flowers, memorial supplies or takeaway food should watch advance orders.
• Visitor enquiries: Share your hours; suggest checking transport and attraction notices directly.
• Check employment guidance: For private-sector days off, substitute holidays, staffing and pay arrangements, follow announcements from the Ministry of Labor.

• 30 days before: Confirm daily staffing and hours; base inventory of flowers, takeaway meals or other goods on real orders.
• 14 days before: Set each date’s special hours in Google Business Profile, including closed days. Publish a Post on the same day with the complete opening schedule.
• 7 days before: Repeat the schedule, and open or block advance-booking slots as appropriate for the festival days.
• On the holiday or final day: Verify that the posted hours still match actual operations. Check that the special hours will expire after their assigned dates rather than overwrite regular hours.
