National Day holiday

Taiwan’s National Day is marked by ceremonies and public activities in some locations. The 2027 break combines the weekend with a Monday substitute holiday.

• Monday will not be business as usual: Office-area and commuter demand may be different from a typical Monday.
• Check nearby event access: Road arrangements around ceremonies or public gatherings may affect deliveries.
• Use local evidence for stock: Restaurants and retailers serving visitors should rely on bookings and recent sales.
• Visitor enquiries: Share your hours; suggest checking transport and attraction notices directly.
• Check employment guidance: For private-sector days off, substitute holidays, staffing and pay arrangements, follow announcements from the Ministry of Labor.

• 30 days before: Set Monday opening hours and check delivery access around any nearby public events.
• 14 days before: Set each date’s special hours in Google Business Profile, including closed days. Publish a Post on the same day with the complete opening schedule.
• 7 days before: Republish the three-day schedule and verify Monday appointment capacity.
• On the holiday or final day: Verify that the posted hours still match actual operations. Check that the special hours will expire after their assigned dates rather than overwrite regular hours.
