• Expect different morning patterns: Demand after New Year’s Eve can shift towards breakfast, convenience purchases and travel-related services, depending on location.
• Separate tourist and neighbourhood demand: A shop near transport or attractions may face different peaks from a residential service business.
• Check appointment capacity: Salons, clinics and booked services should identify exactly which sessions they will run.
• Visitor enquiries: Share your hours; suggest checking transport and attraction notices directly.
• Check employment guidance: For private-sector days off, substitute holidays, staffing and pay arrangements, follow announcements from the Ministry of Labor.
